Questions for the "Elite" players (those who have completed every game since March 11, 2006): Approximately when did you start playing Iron Sudoku ? When did you become addicted ?

Good question Judy. Thought I'd check on my account details but it doesn't tell me. Wonder how we can find out. For me it must have been around 2010 I think

JudyHall - I started playing IronSudoku 9/2/14. I've played several other sites through their entire existence. Probably hooked about a decade before finding this one.

So Phil and JeffysMom, you both worked backwards to complete all the puzzles, as I am slowly doing. JeffysMom, you started before the date where I'm currently working (Nov 2014) ... (chuckle)

@JudyHall - I do not know when I started but it was before 2008. I would arrive at the office very early to avoid traffic jams and start with a morning coffee and this sudoku.
I retired 2008-01-01 and dont get up that early any more but this site is still in my morning routine.

I too had to go backwards to "catch up"

I liked it better than a couple others I was using, so gave them up and this site is my morning wake up with coffee

@JudyHall - I started in March, 2007, and I remembered how happy I was to make up the old puzzles. Can't imagine starting recently and having to make them all up. Good luck!

Thanks to all the Elites who were so forthcoming. I, too, like Iron Sudoku the most of all the Sudoku games available, and try to do more than the daily puzzle each day. It will indeed take quite a long time for me, working backwards, to get to March 2006 (currently in mid-Nov 2014 -- chuckle) !

@JudyHall - almost never participate in chat log but happened to see your question about those of us who are long-time players and have completed all of the puzzles. I’m one of the originals and have been playing since the start. A friend told me about Babble and I played that for a short time, but switched to Iron Sudoku when it was introduced and really look forward to it every morning. Retired quite a while ago and when I’m traveling and miss a few (like I did the past couple of weeks) can’t wait until I catch up, so guess that makes me “addicted.†Main thing is to have fun with it, and sounds like you do! 😀
